1. Introduction
Zenithora Global is an education platform that helps students learn Social Science and other skills simply and clearly. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.
The platform is operated by Zenithora Global, with its registered office at Lucknow, India.
This policy applies to our website, our learning platform and apps, our newsletters, and any other service that links to this policy (together, the "Services"). It does not apply to third-party websites or platforms such as YouTube, Instagram or Substack, which have their own privacy policies.
We follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules.
By using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you are under 18, please read it with your parent or guardian.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run and improve the Services.
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, whether you are a student, parent or teacher, age, class and board, gender (optional), and phone number and school (optional, only if we ask for them).
- Learning activity you share: doubts and questions you ask, answers to quizzes and tests, comments, feedback and messages to our team.
- Career and course preferences: the courses you select and the career areas you are interested in, so we can show relevant skills, jobs and internships.
- Payment information: when you buy a paid service, our payment partner processes your card, UPI or bank details. We do not store your full card or bank account numbers.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and subscription preferences. See also our notice for launch-updates subscribers.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages and lessons viewed, features used, time spent, progress and scores.
- Device data: device type, browser, operating system, IP address and approximate location (city level).
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account;
- deliver lessons, study material, quizzes and doubt solving;
- personalise your learning path based on your progress, strengths and weak areas;
- match you with mentors and show courses, jobs and internships relevant to your selected course;
- answer your questions and provide support;
- process payments and send receipts;
- send service updates and, with your consent, newsletters and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- keep the Services safe, prevent misuse and fix technical problems;
- understand how the Services are used so we can improve them; and
- meet our legal obligations.
How we use artificial intelligence (AI)
- Doubt solving: we use personalised AI assistants to help answer doubts, supported and reviewed by our human team as needed. When you ask a doubt, the question and relevant learning details (such as your class and progress) may be processed by these AI tools to give you a better, more personal answer.
- Study material: our notes and PDFs are written from scratch by teachers and subject experts. We then use AI tools to design and format them for a better reading experience. This does not involve your personal information.
- AI tools are provided by trusted technology partners who process information only on our instructions.
- AI is never used on its own to make decisions that have a significant effect on you, such as your account status.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show targeted advertising to students under 18.
4. Children and parental consent
Most of our learners are school students under 18. Under Indian law, anyone under 18 is treated as a child, and we take extra care with their information.
- Parental consent: a student under 18 can create an account only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- No tracking for ads: we do not track the behaviour of children for advertising, and we do not show them targeted ads.
- Only what's needed: we collect from students only the information needed to deliver their learning.
- Parent access: a parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information, or withdraw consent, by writing to askzeni@zenithoraglobal.com
- Jobs and internships: some opportunities listed on the platform have minimum age requirements set by the employer. We do not share a student's details with any recruiter or employer without the consent of the student and, if they are under 18, their parent or guardian.
If we learn that we have collected information from a student under 18 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files saved on your device. We use three kinds:
- Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep the platform secure. The Services cannot work without them.
- Preference cookies remember choices such as your language, class and settings.
- Analytics cookies show us, in summary form, how people use the Services so we can improve them. We use analytics only on our public pages, never on lesson pages.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working properly. We do not use cookies to show targeted ads to students under 18.
6. How we share information
We share personal information only when needed, and only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Services, such as hosting, email, analytics, payment and AI technology partners. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Mentors and experts on our platform, limited to what they need to guide you (for example, your name, class and the questions you ask).
- Recruiters and employers, only when you choose to apply for or express interest in an opportunity, and only with the required consent.
- Authorities, when required by law, a court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or the public.
- A new owner, if Zenithora is merged, acquired or sells its assets. Your information will remain protected by this policy.
7. Third-party links and embedded content
Our Services may include YouTube videos, links to our social media pages, newsletters hosted on Substack, and links to job and internship listings on other websites. These third parties may collect information under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
8. Storage, security and retention
- We store your information on secure servers with reputed cloud providers.
- We protect it with measures such as SSL/TLS encryption whenever data travels between your device and our servers, encryption of sensitive data we store, strict access controls so only authorised team members can see it, regular security checks, and data protection training for our team.
- No system is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
- We keep your information while your account is active or as long as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your information within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep some of it for longer.
- If a data breach affects your personal information, we will inform you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Your rights and choices
You (or your parent or guardian, if you are under 18) can:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information or close your account;
- get a copy of your information in a common, machine-readable format;
- object to certain uses of your information, such as optional analytics or promotional emails;
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time (this will not affect processing already done);
- unsubscribe from newsletters and promotional emails using the link in any email;
- nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity; and
- raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To make a request, write to askzeni@zenithoraglobal.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will reply within 30 days.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services grow — for example, when we launch new features like mentorship, virtual reality or career listings. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and tell you about important changes by email or a notice on the platform. If you keep using the Services after an update, it means you accept the updated policy.
